Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a ticket or accepting transportation, the passenger agrees to the following conditions:
- Passengers must present themselves at least one (1) hour before the scheduled departure time to purchase tickets or send cargo. Each passenger is required to present a legal identification document (ID card, passport, driver’s license, birth certificate, temporary ID, etc.), and must carry it at all times. Passengers under 18 years old traveling without their parents must present a document signed by their parents or legal guardians authorizing the minor’s trip.
- It is required to provide identification numbers and phone numbers of all parties involved. Dream Ferries reserves the right to deny boarding to passengers who appear to be under the influence of drugs or who pose a threat to other passengers, the crew, or the vessel.
- Adult passengers and children over 11 years of age must pay the full fare.
- Honduran citizens or residents over 60 years of age are entitled to a 25% discount on the normal fare. Children between 5 and 10 years old pay 50% of the regular fare (not applicable to promotions). Children under 5 years old travel free of charge.
- No refunds or exchanges are provided for tickets. All sales are final. Only date and route changes are allowed within one year of the issue date.
- In the case of tickets purchased under the term EARLY SAVER , the passenger agrees to: full prepayment of the ticket and acknowledges that no partial or full refund will be issued if the passenger cancels or changes their reservation according to the stated itinerary.
- New prices may vary depending on the season, so any changes requested for tickets purchased during promotions may be subject to fare adjustments representing the full normal ticket price.
- Dream Ferries’ primary responsibility is the safety of its passengers and crew. Dream Ferries reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reroute a trip if weather conditions or any external or internal factors pose a threat to passenger safety or vessel integrity, without it being considered a breach of contract or liability for financial damages.
- Each passenger is allowed a maximum of two (2) pieces of luggage, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds each. Luggage may be subject to additional fees for excess weight or size. Only one (1) small carry-on bag per passenger is allowed. Size restriction: 9 inches x 17 inches x 10 inches. Additional luggage will be labeled as cargo.
- Dream Ferries offers cargo services 7 days a week, ideal for time-sensitive shipments. Cargo must be checked in and labeled at least one hour before departure. Otherwise, it may be shipped on the next available trip. Cargo is shipped based on delivery time, space availability, and readiness for pickup upon arrival. Cargo will be billed per item at a predetermined rate or according to actual or dimensional weight—whichever is greater will be used to calculate the rate.
- Dream Ferries is not responsible for perishable or fragile items, as boat trips may encounter rough waters.
- Cargo that is not claimed within 10 days after unloading, and without further instructions, will be considered unclaimed/abandoned. Dream Ferries may dispose of, sell, or discard unclaimed/abandoned cargo at its sole discretion. Perishable items will be discarded 48 hours after arriving at the final terminal.
- No weapons of any kind are allowed on Dream Ferries premises. To transport firearms, passengers must deliver them to Dream Ferries as cargo. The firearm owner must be traveling on the same route, and only registered firearms will be accepted. Illegal goods are strictly prohibited.
- Domestic animals are allowed for transport only in cages of adequate size for the animal.
